Manuel comes from a family with a strong military tradition, - his father served in three wars.
A graduate of UCLA,Manuel spent 15 years in sales and marketing before embarking on a career in education, where he worked as a classroom teacher for several years.
Manuel then transitioned into the financial services industry, where he gained valuable experience in planned giving and philanthropy.Manuel is also a life-long political and community organizer. He has served in leadership roles for several non-profit organizations.
Manuel is a firm believer in education as a tool for social change and has worked tirelessly to promote access to education, and justice, for all.
